Attic

A truss which forms the top storey of a dwelling but allows the area to be habitable by leaving it free of internal webs. This is compensated by using larger timber sizes.

Attic Dormer

Multiple trusses support a cut section made up of loose timber to form the opening. The actual dormer can be constructed using a standard GRP, loose timber or trussed option.

Raised Tie Dormer

Raised Tie View

Gable Ladder

Barge Boards and soffits are nailed directly onto the Gable Ladder which provides continuous support around the gable end of the roof. The size of the gable ladder is determined by the width of the soffit and spans back to the truss.
